SCRAPY LAND CHALLENGE #90

Hello My Crafty Friends,
I want to let you all know that a new challenge starts today at Scrapy Land
The theme is 'Anything Goes' using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

...Here's what I made for this challenge...
I love the wolf die and this time I left the moon on there. :)
I love feathers too and think they go well together.
I wanted to make a nighttime scene.
I used a brown paper bag to cut out the tree and one of the feathers.
You may be able to see a little bit of the red letters on the feather...adds more character, lol.
...For This Card - Step By Step...
Grey cardstock for the card base.
Cut the cardstock the size I wanted to make my card.
Then folded each side to meet together in the center.
Went over the front of the card with distress ink.
Ran the card through the machine to emboss it.
Used distress ink on the doily die cut then cut it in half.
Taped a piece of the doily on each side of the card.
Glued the tree on the right side of the card.
Cut out the wolf die cut in grey and white cardstock.
Cut a piece of yellow cardstock to fit behind the moon outline, glued it on.
Then glued the white wolf on back of the grey one.
Cut pop-dots in half and put on the back of the wolf, attached the wolf to the card.
Glued three feathers together, then tied a piece of twine around them.
Taped the feathers to the card.
Then used the white gel pen to make stars.
You can see the embossing on the inside and it shows on the back as well.

Cut the image out, went around it with distress ink, then taped it to the center of card.
I printed out extra butterflies and the flower in her hair, so fussy cut them out.
Put half a pop-dot on the back of each one of them, placed them over the ones on the image.
I added two butterflies to the butterfly that is on the umbrella, as I wanted it raised farther.
Glued the leaves onto the card.
I had made my own rolled flowers, so glued three of them on.
 ...For the flowers I made...
With a scrap piece of paper, I cut out a circle 'not perfect for sure', lol.
Then cut out a swirl (I guess you would call it that) in the circle.
Starting from the beginning/outer part, roll it and glue it to the end of the roll.
The swirl cut doesn't need to be straight, unless you want it to.
Then I use a pair of tweezers and curl over the top part of the petals.

LOVE TO CRAFT CHALLENGE #22

Hello My Crafty Friends,
There's a new challenge starting today at
The theme for this challenge is...
Anything Goes

I really like this saying and as I am sure some of you know, I love butterflies, as they remind me of my beautiful daughter. Butterflies was one of her favorite things.
I have been wanting to make something with this zipper digi and was thinking butterflies.
So I came up with this for a card.
...For This Card - Step By Step...
White cardstock for the card base.
Cut a piece of yellow paper to fit the center of the card.
Used the distressing tool around the card, yellow paper and saying.
Used a brown colored pencil around the card, yellow paper and saying.
Taped the yellow paper onto the card.
Taped the saying onto the card slanted slightly.
Taped the zipper onto the card overlapping the saying a little.
Glued the grapevine leaves onto the card.
Glued the butterflies onto the card, leaving space for the flatback pearls.
I wanted the flatback pearls to look like a trail the butterflies had flown, no straight lines.
After gluing the pearls on for the butterflies, I then glued some on the grapevine.
Then glued the large butterfly onto the card and a flatback pearl onto it.
Used the brown colored pencil to color around the zipper and add shading to the leaves.
