CUTE AS A BUTTON JANUARY INSPIRATION

Hello There Crafty Friends,
I would like to share a card I made with you all for the

I love any kind of rustic/country/western.
So of course when I saw the beautiful 'Cheyenne' I just had to make a card with her.
Plus I get to use two of my favorite dies, cowgirl boots and hat. :)
I was thinking I should add some studs/brads on the card but I don't have any with bling 'yet' so decided to use flatback gems instead.
...For This Card - Step By Step...
White cardstock for the card base.
Cut Kraft paper to fit the center of the card.
Cut patterned paper to fit center of the Kraft paper.
Used distressing tool around the image, card base, Kraft paper and patterned paper.
Used the ink pad around the image, card base, Kraft paper and patterned paper.
Taped the Kraft paper onto the card, then taped the patterned paper on.
Cut a piece of hemp cord to go across the card and glued it on each side with Gem-Tac glue.
Then made a bow with the hemp cord and glued it onto the cord.
Laid a piece of gauge onto the card and applied drops of Ad-tech glue to adhere it in place.
Added foam mounting tape onto the back of the image and attached the image to the card.
I already had the boots and hat cut out...colored the flowers and leaves with pencils.
Used the ink pad around the boots and hat, then taped the boots together.
Added foam mounting tape onto the back of the boots and hat and attached them to the card.
Using Ad-tech glue and tweezers I glued the flatback gems onto the card.
Using Gem-Tac glue I glued the flowers onto the card.
