DIGISTAMPS4JOY CHALLENGE #144

Hello Crafty Friends,
We have a new challenge starting today over at
  The theme for this challenge is...
Anything Goes with a Twist 'Favorite Color Combination'

I have a few favorite color combos but really like pink and black together, so that is what chose for theme. I think the image I used for my card is so beautiful and peaceful looking.
She loves her kitty and is trying to get it to eat but it looks like kitty wants to play instead, lol.
So very precious!

I have seen so many beautiful cards with different colored papers cut to sit side by side. I have been wanting to try it, so this is my result. Took me a bit to get it to match up correctly all the way around, not sure how I goofed on the cutting, lol. I couldn't find any patterned paper to work with the image, so decided to make my own. I used an embossing folder on the papers, then cut them in half.
Okay, now I just have to tell on myself. I made a big goof, nothing new for me, lol. I was happily putting tape on the wrong side of one of the papers, uh oh, ugh. That tape sticks really well and as long as it took me to get those papers to work together, no way was I going to do it over again. So I added tape to the wrong side of all the papers and they are 'Debossed' instead of 'Embossed', lol. My hubby made me feel better, he said "I Like It That Way", oh cool, now I am happy. :) 
I added Scotch Foam Mounting Tape on back of the image to make it stand out more.
