CUTE AS A BUTTON JUNE INSPIRATION

Hello There My Crafty Friends,
I would like to share a card I made with y'all for the
Cute As A Button Showcase Blog

I love this adorable 'Fishing' image and had a lot of fun working with it.
I enjoy fishing and finally after not going for 5 years, I went fishing.
My hubby and I had a great time and will be going again soon. :0)
...For This Card - Step By Step...
White cardstock for the card base.
Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the center of the card.
Went around the patterned paper and image with the distressing tool.
Cut a piece of burgundy paper and used the paper crimper on it.
Went around the patterned paper, crimped paper and image with distress ink.
Used distress ink on the clock and tag as well.
Then I taped everything onto the card.
I had a piece of paper from a die cut that looked like a worm, though it was cut in pink,
so I used the distress ink on it and glued it to the card.

  7. This is such a fabulous image and the way you coloured it makes it look like a piece of art!! I used to take the kids fishing off a jetty when they were younger but now they are heading into 'teenagedom' they aren't interested anymore. Really like all the details you added, especially the tiny worm and those pretty leaves with the stitch details. So glad you shared this with us at TIME OUT!
