Hello There Crafty Friends,
I would like to share a card I made with you all...
I love The Wizard of Oz and for sure love these adorable images.
So without further ado here's my card...
I thought I would show the sides as well.
...Here's what I used to make it...
Digistamps: Wizard of Oz Bundle and Oz House On Witch
Marco Raffine Colored Pencils
We R Memory Keepers "Wood Grain' Embossing Folder
Spellbinders Die D-Lites 'Whimsical Tree'
Impression Obsession Stamps: Bushel of Apples Die
Flowers - from a dear friend
Unbranded dies 'Vines' and 'Leaves'
Scor-Tape
Plus Tape Runner
Scotch Mounting Tape
Forever In Time Paper Craft Collection 'Pop Dots'
Ad-tech Crafter's Precision Glue
Beacon Gem-Tac Glue
Wink of Stella Glitter Brush 'Clear'
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad 'Tea Dye and 'Walnut Stain'
Elizabeth Craft Designs Fine Pointed Scissors
Elizabeth Crafts Fine Pointed Tweezers
White/Green Cardstock Paper...Here's how I made it...
I used this tutorial to make my card base.
Then used the embossing folder on both pieces of the card base and added distress ink on the front and back of each. After taping the card base together, I taped some green paper onto each section. Then taped the road in place. Next I fussy cut around the images and added Wink of Stella to Dorothy's shoes and the witch's shoes. Then I drew and colored the emerald city, clouds and the yellow brick road. I made grass by cutting a small strip of paper, then cut small strands on one side. Next I moistened the paper and used tweezers to twist the grass blades, then folded the other end to glue underneath the road. I put pop dots behind the clouds and added them to the inside wall. Then added Scotch mounting tape to the back of the emerald city and added it to the inside wall as well. I then glued vines on the wall. Then glued apples onto the tree. After making square folds for each image, including the trees, I glued them onto the back of the images, then used Scor-Tape to tape them onto the card. Then glued the flowers on.
