Hello,
There is a new challenge starting today at
SUNNY DAY CRAFTING
The theme is...
ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES

Here is my inspiration card for the challenge...
Here is what I used to make my card....
Digital stamp by Free Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps
Fall Mousie

Digi image colored with Marco Raffine Colored Pencils.
The Paper Studio "Mirabelle" 4.5"x6.5"
Tim Holtz idea-ology Paper String
White/Orange cardstock paper and leaf from my stash.

Using white paper, I made the card. Then glued the patterned paper in the
center. After cutting the orange paper to fit, I glued it to the back of the digi
image. Then glued that onto the right side of the card. I tied a bow around
the end of the leaf. Then using goop, I glued the leaf onto the card.

And that's my DT card.
I hope you like it and it will give you some inspiration.

Happy Crafting,

Take Me Away...

Here is what I used to make my card....
Digital stamp by: Digi Stamps 4 Joy
Digi image colored with Marco Raffine Colored Pencils.
Highlights added with a white Gelly Roll Gel Pen.
The card is made using white cardstock paper from my stash.
Using 6.5"x4.5" paper "The Mariposa" mat stack from DCWV,
I cut it to fit and glued it in the center of the card.
Using 4.5"x6.5" paper "So-So-Sweet" from The Paper Studio,
I cut it to frame behind the image.
Then cut a strip of each paper, with the green colored paper
being wider...glued them together and added them to the card,
across the center. Then glued the digi image on the right
side of the card. I added flowers to the corner and wrapped
a piece of gauze in between them and upward. Then placed a
clock sticker over the gauze at the top left.
Flowers, clock and gauze are from my stash.

Thank you for visiting. Hope you like my card.

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE #14 ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES

Hello!
I am super excited to have joined a new DT this week at
SUNNY DAY CRAFTING
The theme is...
ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES

Here is my inspiration card for the challenge...
Here is what I used to make my card....
Digital stamp by Julia Spiri
Girl With Mushroom

Digi image colored with Marco Raffine Colored Pencils.
I used a Gelly Roll pen to add highlights.
The ladybug button/two flatback gems/three cardstock papers/piece of
twine are from my stash.  I took a piece of cardboard from a box and
tore the layers, to get the lined paper. I crocheted the flower.

First, I cut a piece of light brown paper to make it smaller for my card base. Then I glued the lined paper across the top part of the card. Rotating a piece of orange paper, I glued it onto the card. Then I took a piece of dark brown paper and cut it to frame behind the digi image, then glued it to the card. I then cut a small piece of twine and glued it onto the card with Goop. Then used Goop to glue on the flower and ladybug button. Then glued the flatback gems onto the card, above the flower, also with Goop.

And that's my DT card.
I hope you like it and it will give you some inspiration.

Happy Crafting,
Sherry x

LETS CRAFT & CREATE CHALLENGE #117 SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES

We have a new challenge starting today over at
The theme for this challenge is...
SPOTS AND/OR STRIPES

There is a fabulous prize to be won too, so come join in the fun!

Here is my inspiration card for the challenge...
Supplies Used:
The Paper Studio 4.5x6.5 "Tattered and Worn" and "Mirabelle"
Prima Marketing Inc. 6x6 "Stationer's Desk"
For Sentiment tag, I used Core Essentials "Neutrals"
From my stash: Brown cardstock paper, leaves, butterfly button
Twine from the Hardware Store and Hazelnuts from my yard :)
Prima Marketing Comfort Craft Distressing Tool - used to distress
ends of all the paper, including the card.

After distressing around the sides of each paper, I taped them in place.
I used the twine to tie the leaves together and glued them on the side of
the card. I left the twine long and glued each end down to hold it in place.
After gluing the hazelnuts in place, I cut short lengths of twine and tucked
them here and there, in the leaves. I then added the sentiment tag and a
leaf at the bottom. Then glued the butterfly button onto the card.

And that's my DT card.
I hope you like it and it will give you some inspiration.

Happy Crafting,
Sherry x

Had Fun Creating This Card

Here is what I used to make my card....
Digital stamp by Cute As A Button

Digi image colored with Marco Raffine Colored Pencils.
Starfish and Seahorse created by me.
I used LolliZ Gel Pens for highlights on the mermaid/starfish/seahorse.
Background colored with Neopiko-2 Markers  -
I got the idea for the background from here: Copic Marker Spain
The leaves/flowers/fish/flat back pearls are from my stash.
Blue cardstock paper from my stash folded it in half for the card.
Using 4.5x6.5 cardstock paper from The Paper Studio "Against The
Grain", I rotated the paper and taped it in place.
Using 4.25x5.5 cardstock paper from Core Essentials "Brights", I tore the
paper into three pieces and also used the Prima Marketing Comfort Craft
Distressing Tool to sand the top of each piece.
I cut around the digi image with Victorian Paper Edgers Scissors,
then taped it slightly slanted.
I wrapped a piece of floral wire around the leaves and flowers, then
arranged them how I wanted before gluing them in place.
The fish have thread on them, so was able to glue the thread to the paper
 and leave them hanging..
I cut several short pieces of twine, unraveling each and adding them in
and around the leaves and flowers.

Thank you for visiting. Hope you like my card.

K & Company "Metal Art". Then glued the bow to the card and
put the key in place.
Using a leaf from my stash, I cut it into two pieces, placed three
flowers from my stash onto the leaves. Then glued the leaves in place.
