The Creative Crafters Challenge #75

  Hello There Crafty Friends,
I would like to share what I made for the challenge this month at...
The Creative Crafters

Our theme is always "Anything Goes"

...I created a faux leather looking journal for the challenge...
Here's the front cover and the back cover looks pretty much the same.
Here's the spine.
And here's two pictures of the pages made using packaging paper.
I will be adding things to the pages and for sure the cover.
I just need to figure out what I want to put on the front cover. Any ideas? :)

...Here's what I did to make it...
I used a food box to make the cover.
Then tore small pieces of packaging paper and glued them onto the cover, overlapping some.
Next I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad 'Vintage Photo' on the whole cover.
Using a paintbrush, I covered the journal cover with a thin layer of Mod Podge.
Oh, just to let you know, being that the pages are thin, I glued them on instead of stitching.
I glued the pages together at the spine part (where the fold is) of them to make the signatures.
Then glued each of the signatures to the inner spine of the cover.
After letting them dry, I glued the first page onto the inner front cover. Then I glued the last page onto the inner back cover.

...Products Used...
