I would like to share a card I made with you all for an inspiration post at

The Theme is: Dots and/or Stripes

...Here it is using the beautiful 'Peony Dawn'...

I looked and looked but couldn't find any paper with dots and/or stripes that I thought went well with her. This morning when the mail ran I received an envelope that has...guess what on the inside of it...stripes! Yay problem solved! I just added some distress ink and voila , perfect, at least I think so :)

THE CREATIVE CRAFTERS CHALLENGE #18

Hi There Crafty Friends,

I want to let you all know that a new challenge starts today at... 

 The Creative Crafters

 Our theme is always 'Anything Goes'

I have had this image printed out in sections for awhile so wanted to make something with it.

...Here's what I came up with...

...Here's what I did - printed on Kraft paper...

I wanted it have a 3D look so printed out the butterflies and flowers separate.

After coloring the tag border, butterflies and flowers. 

I cut out the butterflies, flowers and tag.

Then put some distress ink around the inside of the tag.

Glued the flowers onto the tag and placed a pop-dot behind the two larger flowers.

Then put glue on the center back of the butterflies and glued them on.

 Next I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit behind the tag and distressed the edges.

And added some distress ink around it and taped the tag on.

Then tied a knot in a piece of lace and glued that in the hole on the tag.
