 Colour Crazy Challenge

The theme is always 'Anything Goes'

The wonderful sponsor is 'Lemon Shortbread'

...I had fun making this card with the adorable 'Heart Balloon Girl'...

 ...For my card... 

I printed the heart balloon twice and colored the images with colored pencils.Then cut out the girl with a frame die and fussy cut the extra heart balloon out. Put mounting tape on the back of the balloon and placed it over the original heart balloon. Cut out small balloon hearts on the background patterned paper, used the same die to cut out on another patterned paper to fill in the hearts. Placed a piece of the same patterned paper behind the image. Then made a bow with twine and glued it beneath the flower.

I love buttons, probably because I have memories of my grandmother teaching me how to sew by hand and my step mom teaching me how to use a sewing machine...so I do use them.
But I tend to use pearls most of the time, especially on a more feminine card like this one.

Hello There Crafty Friends,

I want to let you know about the challenge at...

 Colour Crazy Challenge

The theme is always 'Anything Goes'

...I used the beautiful image 'Aloha, Lady'...

 ...For my card... 

I colored the image with colored pencils. 

Cut a piece of pink cardstock to fit the center of the white card base.

Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the center of the pink cardstock. 

Then taped them together and onto the card.

Cut a piece of the floral patterned paper to fit the left side of the card.

 Cut a piece of pink cardstock to frame behind the patterned paper.

Then taped them together and onto the card.

Cut two pieces of twine for each side and glued them in place.

 Cut a piece of pink cardstock to frame behind the image.

Then taped them together and onto the card.

Put flower stamens in the flower and glued the flower onto the card.

Glued flower stamens coming from under the flower.

Cut the butterfly die with the same pink cardstock and glued it to the card.

Then glued flatback pearls onto the card.

I colored the image with colored pencils and cut her out with a frame die. Next I taped the patterned paper and the image onto the card. Then glued the vine die cuts and flowers on.
