LOVE TO CRAFT CHALLENGE #7 ANYTHING GOES

Hi There Crafty Friends,
There's a new challenge starting today at
Love To Craft Challenge Blog
The theme for this challenge is...
Anything Goes
Here is my inspiration card for the challenge...
Here is what I used to make my card....
 White Cardstock Paper for Card
Flower Corner Metal Die
Flower Edge Die
Offray Ribbon 'Lattice'
Tattered Lace 'Florentine Flourishes' Dies
Darice Embossing Essentials Vine Die
Paper Roses
Gem-Tac Permanent Adhesive Glue

I used a piece of white cardstock paper to make the card. Next I taped the corner die in place on the top left side of the card. Then taped the edge die on the bottom right side of the card. I ran it through the machine to cut and emboss it. After measuring the lattice ribbon to fit diagonal across the card, I cut it and glued it in place. I then glued the vine die cut onto the left side of the card, bringing it across to the top right side. Taking one vine die cut, I cut it in half and glued part of it onto the left side and up into the center of the card. After cutting the stems off the roses, I glued the larger ones in place. Then I glued the flourishes die cuts around the roses, just gluing the stems in place, so that they raise outward. I then glued on two smaller roses, one on the vine die cut that is hanging down on the left side of the card and the other onto the flourish die cut that is hanging down in the center of the card.

And that's my DT card.
I hope you like it and it will give you some inspiration.
Come on and join in the challenge!
Happy Crafting,
Sherry x

Hello Crafty Friends,
We have a new challenge starting today over at
Love To Scrap Challenge Blog
The theme for this challenge is...
Who Loves You, Baby!

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is...
Lawn Fawn

Here is my inspiration card for the challenge - using my own stamp...
Here is what I used to make my card...
Frog/Text Stamp By Your Next Stamp 'Sticky Note'
Colored with Marco Raffine Colored Pencils
INKADINKADO Clear Blocks
Ink It Up! Black Ink Pad
The Paper Studio 4.5"x6.5" 'Tattered and Worn'
Tim Holtz Distressed Ink 'Mustard'
Unbranded Square Die and Leaves Die
Butterfly Button
White/Yellow Cardstock Paper

After cutting the patterned paper to fit, I glued it onto the center of the card. I then stamped the frog onto white paper and colored him. My dear hubby diluted the distressed ink and applied it around the image. I rotated a square frame die and glued it on the back of the image. Then I rotated the image slightly to the left and glued it onto the left side of the card. Next I placed the leaves where I wanted them and glued them onto the card. Then I glued the butterfly button onto the right side of the card. I then added the flatback pearls hoping they would work for berries.

And that's my DT card.
I hope you like it and it will give you some inspiration.
Come on and join in the fun!

With help from my wonderful hubby, the cutting board and score board from the Martha Stewart Tool Kit, I was able to make my first 'Center Step Card'. SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE #33 SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT/OPTIONAL ANYTHING GOES

Hello Crafty Friends,
We have a new challenge starting today over at
SUNNY DAY CRAFTING
The theme for this challenge is...
Scrapbook Layout - Optional Anything Goes

Here is my inspiration scrapbook layout for the challenge...
I created my main page digitally, then printed it out...here it is...
Here is what I used to make my layout...
Papers and Gingerbread Bear Set by me
Prima Marketing Comfort Craft Distressing Tool
Tim Holtz Distressed Ink 'Vintage Photo'
Gauge and Lace Ribbon

I printed out the main paper and two others that match. Then distressed all around each paper. My hubby helped me with the distressed ink. He added water to make it disperse more and to be lighter in color. He even put it on all the papers for me. :) I rotated one page to the right and glued it to the back of the main page. Then rotated the other to the left and glued it to the back of the that paper. I then added gauge all around, between the main page and the page beneath it. I made a bow with lace and glued it to the top left corner, gluing the tails to where the stay in place and raise up a little on each side of the bow.

And that's my DT scrapbook layout.
I hope you like it and it will give you some inspiration.

Happy Crafting,
Hugs, Sherry x
