Navy/Purple Cardstock Paper

The beautiful paper I stamped on was made and given to me in the 'blog candy' from Carolina Cards by Mary H...I so wish you could see this paper in person, it is gorgeous, as it shimmers and shines with so many different colors.

Here's what I did...

Using the stamping tool, I placed the stamps where I wanted them and stamped the images and text onto the paper. Then I used colored pencils to create ground and grass. After making the card with navy colored paper, I cut a piece of purple paper to fit the center of it. I then used the distressing tool around the card, the purple paper and the image. Next I taped the image in the center of the purple paper then taped it in the center of the card. Then I glued star sequins over the larger star images, two on each side and middle, on the top part of the card. Next I used a white gel pen to add highlights on the fairy's wings, the mushrooms and in the center of all the stars. I made the bow, then glued it and the flowers onto the bottom left side of the card. Then I curled the flower stems and glued them in with the flowers.
