SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE #39 SPRING

Hello Crafty Friends,
We have a new challenge starting today over at
SUNNY DAY CRAFTING
The theme for this challenge is...
Spring

Here is my inspiration card for the challenge...

 Here is what I used to make my card...

Colored with Marco Raffine Colored Pencils
The Paper Studio 4.5"x6.5" 'So-So-Sweet' Glitter
White/Yellow Cardstock Paper
Unbranded Oval Frame Die
Offray Lace Ribbon
Darice Taper Runner
Zots Glue Dots
Beacon Gem-Tac Glue
Toothpick - handy little tool
 

  I made my card with yellow paper. After cutting the patterned paper to fit, I added tape to each back corner and placed it in the center of the card. I then cut a strip of paper with glitter on it and taped it to the center of the card, from the top down. Next I used the die to cut a frame around the image. Then I taped the image onto the center of the card, toward the top, over the paper strip. I then added a piece of lace ribbon across the bottom of the card and glued the ends beneath the patterned paper. Being I only add tape on the back corners of the patterned paper, I can easily lift the sides to add ribbon beneath it. After that, I added a small amount of glue, using a toothpick to go under the paper, to glue it down all around. Next I made a bow with the lace ribbon and glued it beneath the image and over the lace ribbon strip.
