Here's how I made it...

I cut a piece of watercolor paper the size I needed for my card. Then used the stamping tool to stamp the images where I wanted them. Using the distress ink first on the stamps, I stamped the images on the paper. Then I used rich cocoa ink for a darker outline. After the ink was dry, I colored the images with colored pencils. Next using watercolor crayons, I drew/colored the rock for the mermaid to sit on, added some colors to make the beach, the water, the sky and then drew/colored trees in the background. With each color I used a watercolor brush, afterward, to blend in the colors and give them a softer look. Still using the watercolor brushes, I used them with the watercolor paint and painted over the beach, water and sky...to give them a shimmery look. I also colored over the rock some with colored pencils for more detail. I made my card with teal colored paper, then distressed around it with the distressing tool. Next I cut a piece of navy colored paper slightly smaller than the card, used the distressing tool around it, then taped it onto the center of the card. Then I used the distressing tool around the watercolor paper and taped it in the center of the navy colored paper. The dream charm was already on the chord, so I just glued it across the bottom of the card and tucked the ends beneath the paper. I cut some gauge and placed it beneath the charm going upward on each side. Next I cut a piece of twine and tied it onto the anchor charm, then glued the anchor on the right side of the card, over the gauge. Then I added little glue drops here and there on the gauge to hold it in place.

Here's what I did...

 I made the card with pink cardstock paper. Then I cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than the card. My hubby brought in a few leaves from outside for me to use, so I added ink to different leaves and stamped them on the bottom left side of the card. Then I used 'tea dye' distress ink around the paper, going in more on the corners. Next I added two strands of twine across the bottom part of the paper, tied a knot on the right side, leaving the tails hanging slightly. Then I taped the paper onto the center of the card. I used the distressing tool around the image, added the same distress ink around it, then taped in onto the card. After stamping the sentiment onto the oval frame die cut, I taped it onto the card, over the twine. Then I added a piece of gauge on each side of the image, tucking it under the sides. After that I glued three flatback pearls onto the image.

Here's how I made it...

I embossed the fireworks on a piece of white paper, then colored over the fireworks with watercolor crayons. Next I used watercolor crayons and watercolor paint to color the background, making the beach, water and sky. Then I went back over the fireworks with the crayons and left it dry. After making the card with white paper, I cut a piece of red paper to fit the center of it. Then I cut a piece of blue paper to fit behind the fireworks paper. Next I used the distressing tool around all papers, including the fireworks paper. Then I taped them all together. Next I drew and colored a sand dollar, starfish and shell, then fussy cut around them and added pop dots on the back of them. I then glued pieces of branches on the left side of the card and added the sand dollar and starfish in front of them. Then added the shell on the right side of the card. After fussy cutting around the image, I added pop dots on the back of her as well, then placed her in the center of the card.

Prima Marketing Distressing Tool

Brown/Black Cardstock Paper

Here's what I did...

After making the card with brown paper, I cut a piece of black paper to fit in the center of it. Then I used the distressing tool around the card, the black paper and the image. Next I taped the image in the center of the black paper, then taped it onto the center right side of the card. I then cut a piece of twine, added it down the left side of the image and glued the ends beneath the black paper. After making a bow with the same twine, I glued it toward the bottom of the card, over the twine. Then glued the flower in the center of the bow.

And that's my DT card.

Here's what I did...

Using brown cardstock paper I made the card. Then used the design die to cut the right side of the card. Next I cut yellow paper to fit the inside the card and taped it in place. Then cut another piece of the yellow paper to frame behind the mason jar image, then taped it onto the left side of the card. I cut around the firefly (lightning bug to me - I'm a Kentucky girl) :) then added pop dots to the back of the image and added it to the left side of the card, slightly over the jar image. Next I glued the bow on the right side of the card over the design die cut area. Then glued the flowers in place and added some curled flower stems.

Navy/Purple Cardstock Paper

The beautiful paper I stamped on was made and given to me in the 'blog candy' from Carolina Cards by Mary H...I so wish you could see this paper in person, it is gorgeous, as it shimmers and shines with so many different colors.

Here's what I did...

Using the stamping tool, I placed the stamps where I wanted them and stamped the images and text onto the paper. Then I used colored pencils to create ground and grass. After making the card with navy colored paper, I cut a piece of purple paper to fit the center of it. I then used the distressing tool around the card, the purple paper and the image. Next I taped the image in the center of the purple paper then taped it in the center of the card. Then I glued star sequins over the larger star images, two on each side and middle, on the top part of the card. Next I used a white gel pen to add highlights on the fairy's wings, the mushrooms and in the center of all the stars. I made the bow, then glued it and the flowers onto the bottom left side of the card. Then I curled the flower stems and glued them in with the flowers.
